Ok... so, classes start on Tuesday and I don't wanna. Yep. I don't. Freaking. Wanna. For the first time since summer I'm reading things (a lot of things!) that I really like and am interested in. And what's more? Somehow, that finally got me being productive again. I mean, I was writing all last semester, too, but it's different. Here I'm motivated. It's like I can't freaking stop. And I keep starting new things, too, so it's not like I'm working on one thing... right now it's up to three. So I'd like to say thanks:
To my 3 weeks of brainless activity while home with my parents where I read the Twilight series which allowed me to then pursue things I really loved, and also offer thanks: my vocabulary did this to me; the films of Godard and Cocteau and Jarmusch; composers Satie and Debussy and Respighi; Barbara Guest; Jeanette Winterson; Sappho; Steve Martin.
I would also like to thank Tarpualin Sky for including me in their most recent issue, which you can purchase here:

Hi Amber! It was nice meeting you at the AWP bookfair and talking to you about hypertext and about playfully collaborative poetry! Little did we know that we're both in Coconut #14 (I just realized that). I couldn't access Alice Blue Review for some reason, but I stumbled upon you blog. Email me (szabic[at]gmail.com, you know what I mean by [at], damn hackers:)) when you get a chance. It would be great to exchange work and ideas. Snezana
